Form Exploration Models 2017
Following Design Principles and using the 2 materials shown below to model them from scratch.
1. Bamboo Sticks
This is PALOS, meaning sticks.
The model was created with design principles in mind, mainly, forms defining space, horizontal/vertical elements defining space, base/elevated/overhead plane and degree of enclosure. With those in mind I went ahead and created a model that best defined and showcases my understanding of what the terms meant.
2. Art Card Paper
This is CASA DE CARTA, meaning paper house.
Following the principles of interlocking/adjacent/central spaces, repetition and spatial organization. I created this model to my understanding and integrated a elevated base to bring about the importance of foreground, middle ground and background.
